Astroturf cropping up in the Delta

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! David Zetland describes the use of misleadingly named advocacy groups with names like the Latino Water Coalition to manipulate public perceptions about Delta-related issues. “If water was allocated by price, we’d hear nothing but the sounds of smooth efficiency :)”

I guess Professor Zetland couldn’t figure out what an ironic smirk emoticon would look like.
